Still here..
and have come to the realization, I NEED TO BLOG a bit more often...
I realized Friday was the last day of school for the kiddoes until January 5, eeps! It's. going. way.to.fast.
I've been of course, stuck on Ravelry, and knitting and quick as I can to finish last minute items.
What do you have left to knit or create before the holidays?

long awaited..
eta: Someone sent me a message, lost it upon loggin in here. Anywho, Sockapalooza 5 will happen at some point in '08. Unsure when, keep checkin the blog. http://alison.knitsmiths.us/
ummmm, yeah.

Where do I start? I must confess, I rather hate being a blogger.
Between Ravelry and knitting, I cannot see much else to do?
Well, since last posting, we had a wonderful, blessed Christmas, spent with our family, a nice New Years, and hoping for a TOTALLY blessed year!
some fun events...
I was able to join Socks that Rock club! I am eager awaiting my first shipment with that. Also know, there's some Wollmeise headed my way as well.
I think for this year, I'm only (if that), going to participate in the Sockapaloooza V. I joined the Loopy Ewe blog late summer and that will be over in Feburary.
Most swaps I did participate in last year, meant some extra work that I was proud and honored to do. Meaning, I did'nt have a problem knitting for people whom didn't receive their socks. I just don't feel much energy reciprocated back to me, hence, I'm not going to bother to get myself in a swap, period. Always giving and giving seems to sap me out, as I tend to go in full force with it, lol.
That said, yup, I will occasionally post something here. You will mostly find me over on Rav. and can see my projects, the whole nine there as well. My name there is knitsandwhey.

Pay it forward...
I'm sure you heard of "paying it forward"? You know, you do something nice for someone without query, just out of the blue?
I just signed up for this pay it forward swap and I hope I was able to get in.
You knit 3 items, pass it along, keep one of the items, like so.
Here's Dawn's blog to see how her idea came to play;
http://www.danielanddawn.com/wordpress/?p=125
So, if your a knitter and might have some time in between things, sign up here! We need three people that have a blog.
